A Musical Flight in Pandaria

Along with writing, creating cartoons, and actually playing World of Warcraft, I also love making videos featuring images and videos from WoW. It took me a while to even realize my laptop could capture video of my game play, but once I figured it out, I started recording my various characters adventuring through Azeroth.

I love uplifting, upbeat, and high tempo music and last year I discovered a site called Epidemic Sound that offers music for YouTube videos for a monthly fee. Well, I just really liked the wide variety of music the site offered and downloaded many songs to create my own playlists for writing and playing Warcraft.

It seemed the next logical step to combine my love of WoW with my love of music in a music video featuring scenes from the game. I fell in love with this inspirational and motivational song called, “Start Right Now” by Loving Caliber and I just knew I had to make a lyric video for it. So I took my blood elf mage on a flight across Pandaria to capture some of the many beautiful locations in that zone.

It took me quite a while to select good video clips and then fit the lyric words on the screen to the music, but it was a fun experience. I’m happy with the end result and I hope you find the song as uplifting as I do. Enjoy!

    1. I’d never heard of any of the songs on Epidemic Sound before. They pay artists for their original music and then offer subscriptions to use the music on YouTube. They have tons of music genres too!

Thank you! I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to making videos which means it can take me forever. Lol. I’ve seen many better videos, but I’m sure I’ll get better with practice. 😊
